About this course
The Stelo by Dexcom is the first FDA-cleared, over-the-counter continuous glucose monitor — designed for adults with type 2 diabetes or prediabetes who are not using insulin, as well as individuals without diabetes curious about how lifestyle affects their glucose levels. This module builds on the foundations covered in the Master Module on Glucose Sensors and takes you through everything you need to use the Stelo confidently in clinical practice or in your own daily life.
You'll learn how to correctly apply and remove the sensor, pair it with the Stelo app, interpret glucose trends and Insights, share data with loved ones and your care team via Dexcom Clarity, and connect the system to compatible smart devices. Throughout each lesson, practical do's and don'ts — grounded in clinical experience — help you avoid common pitfalls and get the most out of the sensor.
Learning Objective
By the end of this module, you’ll understand how to use the Stelo sensor effectively in practice. You’ll learn to apply, remove, and start the sensor; respond to notifications; share glucose data and create reports; and connect the system to compatible smart devices. Along the way, you’ll receive expert tips for safe and confident use of the device.
