Nathalie is a person living with type 1 diabetes. Diagnosed at the age of eight, she has lived through many challenges in finding the right balance in managing her diabetes, which was difficult to control. This led her to become one of the first people in Belgium to use an insulin pump.

Type 1 diabetes is also part of her family life. With a degree in Rehabilitation Sciences and Physiotherapy with Internal Diseases, Nathalie brings both lived experience as a person with diabetes and a healthcare perspective.
